In December 1961 at the original 69th St. terminal these
Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company "Strafford"
cars display their heritage. Note the second car is still
lettered for the Philadelphia & Western.


At 40th Street and Woodland Avenue, West Philadelphia streetcars
enter/leave the subway for/from street running. Here PCC 2590 on route 13,
Chester Avenue, begins its street running on December 28, 1962.


PTC PCC 2592 is a few blocks out of the subway running
in a typical inner city residential area along Baltimore Avenue
in this December 28, 1962 picture. Wouldn't you like to have that Buick?


September 1971 finds this SEPTA (formerly Philadelphia Transportation
Company) PCC car crossing Market Street on route 23.


At Llanerch on December 29, 1966 Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company's
(Red Arrow) PCC-styled car is outbound for Ardmore followed by a rotary plow. Also
outbound is a Red Arrow tow truck cradling a GM bus.
